TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas – On Monday, a Grand Jury indicted Johnny Leon for capital murder in the homicide case of the death of Theodore Shaughnessy, a prominent Austinite who was the owner of Gallerie Jewelers, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

According to an indictment released in August, Nicholas Shaughnessy, 19, hired Leon to kill his father.

In July, the Travis County Sheriff's Office said it arrested Leon in College Station. In May, Shaughnessy and his wife, Jaclyn Edison, were arrested and charged with soliciting the murder of his father.
