CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Marine Week wrapped up Sunday with a parade and closing ceremonies in Uptown Charlotte.

The Marine Band led the parade followed by the Silent Drill Platoon.
People lined up along Tryon Street to enjoy the show and say thank you for a great week.
Lt. Col Brad Hipp of the U.S Marine Corps said "Our reason for coming here was to get to know the people of Charlotte, to interact with them and to tell them about our Marine Corps and what we do. So we've had a great time. We've had a lot of really positive interaction."
A Show Troupe also performed at First Ward Park.
