MANOR, Texas – Multiple fire departments battled a brush fire Sunday afternoon in Manor, the Austin Fire Department said.

The Austin Fire Department reported that several units from their department along with STAR Flight were assisting the Manor Fire Department to fight the large fire. The Elgin Volunteer Fire Department also assisted.

The fire was approximately 20 acres in size and by 5 p.m. it was 100 percent contained, according to Travis County Emergency Services District No. 12.

Authorities said crews will be extinguishing hot spots for next the couple of hours. No structures were ever threatened and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
