BURNET COUNTY, Texas -- The Burnet County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday reported human remains have been discovered near a vehicle belonging to a woman who went missing on Aug. 2.

The office said that investigators located the 2005 Mazda Tribute belonging to 40-year-old Tina Marie Logan at an unoccupied property in rural northwest Burnet County on Tuesday.

A subsequent search of the area revealed skeletal human remains.

The office said the remains have not been identified and neither has the person’s cause of death. The missing person cases is still being investigated.

Logan was last seen at the 29 Tire Shop, located in the 500 block of State Highway 29.

Logan is 5’1” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. She has green eyes, brown hair and a scar on her right shin.
