SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio movie theater was evacuated Tuesday night after a man allegedly caused a scene and started screaming.

The Regal Stadium on Huebner Oaks was evacuated at 9:45 p.m. after a man walked into the theater, bought a ticket and then started screaming for unknown reasons.

People in the theater immediately ran outside and called police. Officers were nearby for an unrelated incident and arrived quickly on the scene.

Police said 55-year-old Jeffrey Blaine Jost resisted arrest and was later transported to University Hospital. A weapon was not found on him or in the theater. He was later arrested and charged for resisting arrest, attempted harrassment of a public servant and terroristic threat.

The movie goers were eventually let back into the theater and given ticket vouchers to come back for another show.
