ROUND ROCK, Texas -- According to a Round Rock Police Department affidavit, a man is accused of forcing his way into his ex-girlfriend’s home and holding her against her will for several days.

Thirty-one-year-old Thomas Hill is charged with burglary of a habitation and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to the police document, Hill’s ex-girlfriend, the victim, had a protective order against him stemming from domestic violence incidents that occurred when she was living in Harris County.

In fact, the document states, the victim moved to Round Rock and Hill didn’t know where she was living. The victim said Hill had deteriorated mentally recently, claiming the victim and her family had hidden numerous cameras and were secretly filming a documentary about his life.

On Aug. 15, the victim said her doorbell rang. She had a security camera installed, but it was not functioning. When she looked through the peep hole, she saw a man holding several Amazon shipping boxes that were obscuring his face. The victim said she had ordered several packages from Amazon recently and so opened the door to the man. It was then, the document states, that Hill pushed his way past the victim and entered the home. He threw her to the couch and demanded she remain there. Hill was carrying a handgun in the waistband of his pants. The victim said she doesn't know how Hill located her address.

The affidavit states Hill told the victim he was moving his belongings into the house and proceeded to bring in boxes that contained clothing and food. Hill also brought in several long guns and ammunition, the police document states.

The victim said that from Aug. 6 to Aug. 9, Hill assaulted her, would not let her leave the home and restricted her from contacting anyone.

On Aug. 9 the victim managed to lock Hill in the garage. She then attempted to activate her security system’s silent alarm but accidentally hit the audible alarm. When the victim wouldn’t let Hill in the house, he threw a brick through a back window. Hill told the victim he knew police were on the way and they were going to kill him. He said he “was not going to go out that way.”

The victim believed Hill, and she let him back inside the house. Hill then assaulted the victim again.

A short time later, there was a knock on the door. It was a Round Rock police officer. Hill indicated to the officer that there was no problem at the house, but the victim was able to communicate the dire situation she was in.

More officers arrived, and Hill was taken into custody. The victim was treated at a hospital for her injuries.
