An investigation is underway after a maintenance worker is killed at a Central Hudson Power plant.
The company told us today that Joshua Hockx of Saugerties died while working on the lawn with a riding mower.
It happened at the Sturgeon Point Plant in Rifton on Wednesday.
State and federal regulators were at the plant yesterday, looking into the incident.
A spokesman for Central Hudson says the company is devastated by the 'tragic accident.’
According to his obituary, Hockx graduated from Saugerties High School, and served in Iraq as a marine. He was 36-years-old.
