WATERFORD, N.Y. -- The body of a 14-year-old boy reported missing a day earlier was found Thursday afternoon in the Mohawk River.

Anthony Blaauboer, who also went by Tony, was last seen alive Wednesday going for a walk. He never returned.

The body was found by divers 100 feet from where his clothing was initially found, seven feet under water in the Mohawk River. Some 80 volunteers were out searching earlier.

Blaauboer lived with autism.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
