ALBANY, N.Y. -- As some prepare for more storms Wednesday afternoon -- others are still cleaning up from Tuesday’s weather.

The cleanup in Albany continues and crews are hoping to clean up as quickly as possible.

It doesn’t take much effort to find crews from the Department of General Services out in the area. They’ve been out since Tuesday getting rid of debris and fallen trees.

The area has seen a lot of harsh weather in the past few weeks.

The problem with the latest storm is the region is expecting more rain Wednesday.

Crews are trying to clean up as much as possible -- and it’s been all hands on deck.

“Staffing has been tough. It’s been tough because, but we have a great bunch of employees, bunch of guys and women that are dedicated. They’re putting in one thousand percent,” said Department of General Services Commissioner Sergio Panunzio.

The department says residents have been extremely helpful and they ask for people to remain patient.

They are going to continue to clean up as long as possible.  People are also reminded to stay safe if the severe weather continues.
