AUSTIN, Texas -- Residents of Austin's District 6 had the chance to hear firsthand from their elected official about the city's CodeNEXT plans.
On Saturday, councilman Jimmy Flannigan hosted the second of six meetings to answer neighbors' questions about CodeNEXT.
The primary purpose was to make sure some of the biggest concerns are answered in person. Flannigan said it is important for his constituents to have a voice in the rewrite of the city's Land Development Code.
The next community meeting is happening Tuesday, July 24 at 7 p.m.
