SAN ANTONIO -- After months of rumors and speculation a deal was finally made to let Kahwi Leonard leave the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs made it official Wednesday and confirmed that Kahwi Leonard is no longer a Spur and now he is moving on to Toronto.

In that same trade agreement, the Spurs are losing Danny Green. He is going as well with Leonard to Canada to become a Raptor. In return, new players are coming to the Alamo City. All Star Forward Demar DeRozen and Jakob Poeltl.

Coach Pop complemented Leonard, and wished him well and also added that it’s time to move on.

"You know trades and cuts are always the worst. You have camps every year. You got to look guys in the eyes and say that we’re going to let you go. That’s always tough. Trades are tough. I talked to Kawhi on the phone. I talked to Danny on the phone. Those are personal relationships that you have with people. And, that’s always difficult. It’s probably the toughest part of our profession," said Gregg Popovich.

Coach Pop also added that Danny Green will be missed, both on and off the court.
