TEXAS – This summer Texans can sip on beer and wine delivered to their doorstep for free in a partnership between H-E-B and Favor.

Austin-based delivery company Favor is rolling out a new service with H-E-B for free through Labor Day.

Favor will deliver beer and wine from H-E-B free of charge in Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Houston.

“The combination of H-E-B and Favor continues to be a win for Texans,” said Jag Bath, Favor CEO and H-E-B chief digital officer. “Delivering almost anything in under an hour is what Favor is built on, and now with H-E-B, we are excited to add the new category of beer and wine delivery to Favor’s on-demand platform.”

H-E-B is currently one of the largest beer and wine retailers statewide. The grocery store chain offers selections from more than 100 Texas breweries.

There will not be a minimum for purchases. The free delivery begins Friday, June 29.

Customers can download the Favor app and select the “H-E-B Beer & Wine” banner. Free delivery will automatically be applied, but there is a $2 minimum to tip the deliverer.
