AUSTIN, Texas – Two University of Texas students were treated in a hospital after a burglary in West Campus overnight on Friday.

Around 1:20 a.m. police were called to the 2704 block of Rio Grande. The two students told police two black men kicked in the door to their apartment.

The men then allegedly hit them with rifles, stole items from their apartment and left.

The students received non-life threatening injuries and were treated at Dell Seton Medical Center.

According to Austin police, they believe the men responsible are still in the area.
