NEW YORK -- Apple announced Monday their signature phone will soon be able to automatically share your location with first responders.
This comes thanks to a new partnership the company RapidSOS.
Under the new system, calling the police will automatically trigger the ability for your location to be pinpointed. Apple stated that privacy is a key concern and information cannot be collected for any non-emergency purpose.
The feature will arrive on iOS devices in the U.S. this fall.
