SEATTLE – Starbucks is closing all 8,000 of its stores on Tuesday to conduct anti-bias training.

Police chief: Officers did nothing wrong in Starbucks arrest
The closings are in response to backlash after two black men were arrested for hanging out at a Philadelphia Starbucks in April.
It's just one of several steps the company is taking to restore its tarnished image.
Stores will be closed from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. While training only lasts for an hour, MarketWatch analysts predicts Starbucks will lose $12 million, which is about 20 percent of its daily revenue of a little more than $61 million.
