SANTA FE, Texas — The family of one of the students killed in the Santa Fe High School massacre is suing the parents of the gunman.

Christopher Stone and Rosie Yanas are suing the parents of Dimitrios Pagourtzis in the death of 17-year-old student Chris Stone.

According to the suit, Pagourtzis' parents committed gross negligence for allowing him access to the father's weapons — .38 handgun and a sawed-off shotgun.

Pagourtzis failed to secure the weapons and permitted their son to have access, the suit alleges.

Chris Stone and nine other people were killed last Friday when police said Dimitrios entered an art classroom and began firing. Thirteen other people were injured in the shooting.

A member of the Stone family has set up a GoFundMe account for expenses. You can donate or express condolences here
