HOUSTON — Houston Texans' JJ Watt is offering to pay for the funerals of the victims in Santa Fe, according to a Houston Television station.

The Texans’ defensive end reacted to the tragedy by tweeting the two words "absolutely horrific."

Watt is known for his community involvement since being drafted by the Texans in 2011.

Last year, he helped $37 million to help those in Houston affected by flooding from Hurricane Harvey. The money went to local charities whos goal is to rebuilding child-care centers and homes in the Houston area and providing food and health care to those affected by Hurricane Harvey
