HOUSTON, Texas – President Donald Trump is heading to Houston on Monday for a fundraising luncheon.

The president is attending an event for the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

The event is set up to help Senate Republicans raise money for the 2018 midterms.

The NRSC hopes to protect the Republican majority in Congress by election time. Tickets start at $5,000.

Trump was last in Texas for the National Rifle Association’s annual convention in Dallas on May 4. The president shared the stage with Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Senator John Cornyn and Senator Ted Cruz.
