HOUSTON — An Amber Alert has been canceled after a 12-year-old Houston girl who went missing Tuesday evening and was found late Thursday night.

The Houston Police Department issued the Amber Alert for Jennifer Castillo, who was last seen at 7 p.m. Tuesday on Harbor Town Drive in southwest Houston. Castillo was located by Houston police at 9 p.m. at the apartment complex where she lives. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition. 

“It is our belief that at this time she is being held against her will. Family members say she left the apartment and was seen in the complex talking on her and phone never returned. At this time we feel that this is a kidnapping and that there is a credible threat,” Houston police homicide detectives said in a press conference on Thusday morning. 

 

 

Jennifer is 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has long, curly brown hair and brown eyes, and is believed to be in danger.
