WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas -- People in Williamson County can get a first-hand look at preliminary flood maps.

An open house is being held Tuesday afternoon where people can check out changes to maps and ask questions.

FEMA said the event will help residents identify flood risks and make decisions about flood insurance. The open house runs from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Lakeside Pavilion in Marble Falls.
