SAN MARCOS, Texas — A man in San Marcos is accused of recording a woman in a dressing room.

Morgan Wolter, age 38, is charged with invasive visual recording.

On Thursday, April 5, at approximately 2:48 p.m., San Marcos police responded to Austin Radiological Association in the 1300 block of Highway 123 to meet with the victim.

She advised officers she discovered a phone that was set up in a changing room, presumably by Wolter, a former employee of the facility, and watched a video that had been recording and saw that it recorded her changing prior to her procedure.

Wolter is being held on $10,000 bond at the Hays County Jail.

ARA released the following statement, confirming Wolter has been fired:

ARA takes patient safety and privacy very seriously.  We understand that a violation of a patient’s privacy is upsetting and have apologized for the incident.  The employee has been terminated and we are working with the affected patient.  We also are working with law enforcement in their investigation.
