AUSTIN, Texas -- Two Round Rock Independent School District students are charged in connection to an incident in which it is alleged they made a video recording of a fellow student while he was in a bathroom stall.

Corbin Banda and Cory McMahan, both 17, were indicted and booked into Williamson County Jail Thursday. McMahan was released on a $25,000 bond. Banda, as of Thursday evening, remained in custody.

Both are charged with invasive visual recording.

The alleged incident took place on Nov. 27, 2017, at McNeil High School.

According to Round Rock ISD spokeswoman Jenny LaCoste-Caputo, when the alleged incident occurred law enforcement was immediately contacted, the two were disciplined and sent to alternative education placement for 30 days.

LaCoste-Caputo further said the video recording was posted on an unspecified platform for a short time.
