AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Workforce Commission announced on Wednesday the launch of a new website to provide insight into the labor supply and demand in the state.

The website, TexasLaborAnalysis.com, is an online suite of labor analysis tools designed to present wage data, occupational projections, current labor supply, help-wanted online job posting data, along with other statistics.

TWC Chairman Andres Alcantar said that the website provides a simple method to use labor market supply and demand snapshots that inform the collective efforts of Texas Workforce Solutions, educators, employers and economic developers to prepare current and future workforce for occupations that are high in demand as well as closing skills gaps.

“This new online suite of tools will offer valuable insights to students about high demand careers and aligns with the Tri-Agency commitment to provide better information in support of the job creation efforts of Texas employers,” said Alcantar.

The website tool includes a “Top Statistics” feature that provides fast access to reports containing the most commonly requested data.
