AUSTIN, Texas – The live music capital of the world is getting high marks again as a great place to live.

In fact, according to U.S. News and World Report, it's the best. For the second year in a row, Texas' capital city came out on top. The new list ranks the country's 125 largest metropolitan areas based on affordability, job prospects and quality of life.

Colorado Springs came in second, and Denver came in third. Des Moines, Iowa, is the fourth-best city according to the report. Rounding out the top five was Fayetteville, Arkansas.

U.S. News and World Report is the global authority in rankings and consumer advice.
