PHOENIX -- A woman was arrested after being accused of using a stun gun on her son in attempts to get him to go to church.

Phoenix police say after two marks were found on the son's leg, the mom was arrested.

Forty-year-old Sharron Dobbins said she told her son to get up for Easter and threatened to use a Taser on him if he didn't.

She said her kids wanted to hang out with their friends all day and not attend church services.

Once the son refused to get up, she said she made the noise with the Taser but didn't use it on him.

She spent 12 hours in the Fourth Avenue Jail.

Sharron says she's learned her lesson and hopes her boys have learned theirs.
