TEXAS – A Texas-based convenience store chain is honoring the late Tejano singer Selena.

Stripes stores are releasing 2018 limited-edition Selena commemorative collectible cups for only Texas and Louisiana.

The cups will only be sold on Saturday, April 7 starting at 9 a.m. Selena fans can start lining up for their chance to buy a cup at 8 a.m.

Each cup is $2.99 and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Selena Foundation.

The designs were created by the company along with Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla.

“I am excited to work with Stripes again on these beautiful commemorative cups of my sister featuring Selena’s image. One of the designs this year is a watercolor painting created by New York artist Santi Siguenza, and it’s also our official logo for the 2018 Fiesta de La Flor event,” said Suzette Quintanilla, CEO of Q-Productions.

Last month, fans went into a frenzy over H-E-B’s release of a Selena limited-edition reusable bag, crashing their website as soon as it went on sale.
