Keep an eye to the west!  Storms are expected to move towards Austin from the Hill Country as the day goes by, with a big round of downpours in the forecast late tonight through early tomorrow.

One more big round might blow up nearby late tomorrow night through early Thursday before the weak cold front drifts southeast towards the coast with the heaviest downpours.

The strongest storm cells could support some large hail and damaging winds in our area, and that would of course accompany heavy downpours and lightning + thunder.
