SUNSET VALLEY, Texas -- Federal authorities are now reviewing they evidence they gathered at a FedEx location in Sunset Valley.

That is where police say authorities believe the package that exploded in Schertz was shipped from.

“They believe that the package that exploded in Schertz was shipped from this store,” said Lieutenant Rich Andreucci, of the Sunset Valley Police Department.

The FedEx store is on Brodie Lane in Sunset Valley is a little less than 2 miles away from the fourth bombing in Southwest Austin.

“That’s the FedEx I use all the time, send faxes, make copies, and print stuff out for the business,” said Trent Hankins, who lives in Cedar Park and works near Sunset Valley.

“I showed up I saw the 'Do Not Cross' I was like 'Really?' My heart just went into my stomach,” said Angelina Lukacin, a South Austin resident.

Sunset Valley Police Officers blocked off the section of the shopping center surrounding the FedEx for at least 10 hours Tuesday. FBI and ATF investigators gathered evidence that could lead to the suspect or suspects.

“I personally know a lot of the people that work at FedEx and I was just like, "Oh my god, I hope no one got hurt.’ It was very upsetting,” said Lukacin, who was on her way to the FedEx.

Other businesses around the area remained open, as there was no lingering threat to shoppers or employees. But it did not stop rising concerns in the community.

“It’s just something you don’t think you have to tell your kids, you know, it’s usually 'Stay away from strangers. Don’t play with this, Don’t play with that.' Now it's, 'Don’t go near a package.' Which sounds weird because that’s why they’re accustomed to doing it," Hankins said.

Police are urging people to remain vigilant.

“If you see anything out of the ordinary, call 911 you’re not bothering us, that’s our job," Andreucci said. "There’s officers that are on duty and we would rather you call then not call.”

The FBI told Spectrum News they are not commenting on this aspect of the investigation into the Austin bombing.
