AUSTIN, Texas – Four days after credit card skimmers were found at a north Austin 7-Eleven, more skimmers were found at a 7-Eleven that is located few miles south.

Five skimmers were found on gas pumps three, four, five, six and nine at the 7-Eleven/Exxon on 7114 N. Interstate 35, according to the Texas Department of Agriculture.

The skimmers were removed by local authorities.

Consumers are encouraged to pay inside the gas station with cash if they believe the payment system on a gas pump has been tampered with.

Anyone who suspects that a gas pump has a skimmer can report the gas station on the TDA website or call 1-800-TEll-TDA. Consumer reporting helps authorities find possible skimmers.
