A massive snowstorm barreling up the East Coast is affecting incoming and outgoing flights in Rochester.

On Wednesday, several flights were delayed or canceled altogether at the Greater Rochester International Airport. The storm is expected to leave the largest footprint in Philadelphia, New York and Boston.

“We've repeatedly got emails when they've changed them by a couple minutes and when they canceled the flight,” said traveler, Sandra Ahmed.

In anticipation of the snow storm, several airlines redirected and advanced flights.

“We`re getting in at the same exact time, we just have less of a layover in New York. So instead of sitting at the New York airport for three hours, we're just going to be there for an hour,” said Ahmed.

Governor Cuomo has issued a travel advisory for most of the state.
