Wakanda's reign over America shows no signs of waning.

"Black Panther" is king of the U.S. box office for the third straight weekend bringing in an estimated $65.7 million dollars.

The Disney and Marvel movie is now the third fastest film to make over half a billion dollars domestically. It brought in about $501 million in just 17 days, tying with "Jurassic World" and just one day slower than "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."

The Russian spy movie "Red Sparrow" came in at number two on its debut weekend bringing in $17 million. Academy-award winner Jennifer Lawrence plays a ballerina turned human weapon in the thriller.

And rounding out the top three is MGM's "Death Wish" starring Bruce Willis. The reboot of the Charles Bronson action franchise about a surgeon turned vigilante after a brutal attack on his wife and daughter scored an estimated $13 million.
