SAN ANTONIO – Nearly two years later police are offering a reward for anyone with information about the suspect who shot and killed 20-year-old Isaac Orosco.

On July 28, 2016, Orosco pulled into the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 1500 block of NW Crossroads around 9 p.m. As Orosco was getting out of the car, a black SUV pulled up alongside him and fired two rounds.

Orosco was hit once in the stomach. He was taken to University Hospital where he later died.

The suspect has yet to be found.

Crime Stoppers are offering up to $5,000 to anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the person responsible for Orosco’s murder. You can submit your tips anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867 or online here.

In June 2017, Spectrum News spoke with Orosco’s mother, Janie Esparza.

"My son did not deserve to die like this way. My son deserved to have a life he deserved to join the Marines, he deserved to have kids, get married, have a future." Esparza said. "All my future is gone, as well, because that was my only child. I'm never going to hear the words mom again. I'm never going to have grandkids my whole life has been taken from me in a split second for senseless stupidity, you know?"
