MANOR, Texas – Police have given the “all clear” after a bomb threat was made at a Manor day care Friday morning.

The threat was made to the Creative World Learning Center on the 11400 block of US Highway 290 in Manor, Texas. The Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the threat was called in just after 8 a.m.

Thirty to 40 children and eight staff members were evacuated.

Investigators said they did not find anything after several hours of searching.

In a Facebook post, Creative World Learning Center said the day care will remained closed the rest of the day and will return to normal operating hours Monday, Feb. 19. 

The Texas Department of Public Safety and deputies are investigating the threat.
