UNIVERSAL CITY, Texas —  San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers of San Antonio are offering a reward for information in a recent bank robbery.

On Jan. 26, officers responded to the Chase Bank at 912 Kitty Hawk Road.

According to the bank teller, the suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male with an “accent,” approximate height 5 foot, 9-10 inches, medium build.

The suspect handed the teller a note and after he got $3,500 from the teller, he cleaned the counter and door handles with a disinfectant wipe. The suspect left on foot toward the back of the bank to the parking lot of H-E-B where he parked his silver Jeep Liberty.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information which leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this robbery.

Calls and tips directly to Crime Stoppers are anonymous, and information that leads to an arrest of a felony offender might be eligible for a reward.
