AUSTIN, Texas — Poor Stevie Ray Vaughan statue.

The statue, embodying the legendary blues guitarist and native, stands before the city skyline at Auditorium shore on the south shore of Lady Bird Lake. It was vandalized again by taggers overnight for the second time this year.

This time, a Philadelphia Eagles jersey draped over the statue, along with green spray paint that appears to read “Philly <3s St. Nick, a nickname given to Austinite Nick Foles this season, the fill-in quarterback turned MVP.

The statue was also vandalized at the end of January as well but had since been cleaned up.
