AUSTIN, Texas — One firefighter is injured after a home fire in Northwest Austin on Sunday.

According to the Austin Fire Department, fire crews responded to a home on the 6300 block of Sprucewood Cove. When they arrived smoke was coming from the attic.

Officials say there is an estimated $330,000 worth of damage and two residents are displaced. The injured firefighter was taken to the ER, and is in good condition.

The fire department said the cause of the fire was a HVAC malfunction.
