SAN ANTONIO — The Queen of Tejano music is coming to the small screen.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the family of Selena Quintanilla is in the works of developing a television series inspired by the late singer. Her siblings, Suzette Quintanilla Arriaga and Abraham Quintanilla Jr., have signed on as producers. Miguel Nolla of “Scandal” signed on to write and co-executive produce.

The series will not be biographical and will focus on the fictional singer, Alex Guerra, and her return to Texas amid a crisis.
