CEDAR PARK, Texas — The children in the SUV who died in the Jan. 10 crash in Cedar Park have been identified. Daniel Chaudhary, 1, and Elijah Chaudhary, 8, were pronounced dead on the scene. Elijah attended Winkley Elementary School in Leander.
Donna Brady, principal at Winkley Elementary sent out a letter to the parent of students that says counselors will be available at the school. The letter goes on to say "Young children often react differently to traumatic events such as this, even if they did not know the student well. Our counselors have reminded us that it’s important to allow children to express their feelings."
The driver of the SUV has been identified as Zara Salman. She remains in critical condition at the hospital.

Authorities in Cedar Park said that two children were killed in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at Walton Way and West Whitestone Boulevard.
Two children in a SUV were declared dead at the scene while the woman driving the vehicle was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A man and woman in a truck were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Authorites shut down West Whitestone Boulvard until 8 p.m. as they were investigating the scene.
