CANYON LAKE, Texas – A woman's body was found in the water in Canyon Lake on Monday afternoon.

Game wardens with Texas Parks and Wildlife found the body near a boat ramp in the 800 block of Park Shores around 3 p.m., according to the Comal County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities identified her as 26-year-old Kassandra Marie Martin of New Braunfels on Thursday. 

Her death is under investigation, and an autopsy has been ordered. Authorities have not said if this death is being considered suspicious at this time.
