AUSTIN, Texas – A smoking commuter rail car delayed Capital Metro riders by at least twenty minutes on Wednesday afternoon.

Rider Scott Wekema caught video of the smoking train at Highland Station in North Austin around 5 p.m. Everyone onboard was ushered out of the car and no one was injured.

Commuter trains are now running on a 20-minute delay "due to technical issues," according to Capital Metro.

The cause of the smoke is unknown at this time.
