WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — A Williamson County deputy’s vehicle was hit while investigating another crash on northbound Mopac Wednesday evening.

According to Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody, the deputy’s unit was hit on northbound MoPac Expressway at the State Highway 45 west/east split.

The deputy, luckily said Chody, was not injured.

The entrance to westbound SH 45 was closed after the crash, but has since been reopened.

As seen in the photo, the left rear of the deputy’s SUV sustained the most damage.
