APEX -- The StreetSafe LifeSaving Driving Experience let some teens in the Triangle get a hands-on demo for driving in uncertain conditions.

Participants were able to learn from first responders how to best handle a vehicle if they are going too fast or if the car spins out of control.

"A lot of young drivers feel like they're invincible. Bad things happen to other people- it's not going to happen to me," said Todd Radabaugh, Western regional manager for StreetSafe. "What this program does is let them experience just how quickly bad things can happen to really great people."
