PASQUATONK COUNTY - The state will seek the death penalty for the four men who were charged with murder following a deadly prison escape attempt, according to the The Virginian Pilot.
Jonathon Monk, Seth Frazier, Mikel Brady and Wisezah Buckman appeared before a judge in Pasquotank County on Wednesday. t
They’re accused of killing correctional officers Justin Smith and Wendy Shannon, and correction manager Veronica Darden and mechanic Geoffrey Howe when they tried to escape from the Pasquotank Correctional Institution in October.
