AUSTIN, Texas – A report from GlassDoor ranked the top best places to work in 2018 with its “Employee’s Choice Awards,” and several Texas-based businesses made the list.

Fort Worth-based Texas Health Resources ranked No. 46 on the list; Dallas-based Southwest Airlines ranked No. 23; San Antonio-based H-E-B ranked No. 20; and Austin-based Keller Williams was ranked the highest in Texas at No. 13.

The methodology used to compile the list included company reviews along with ratings from current and former employees.

The employee reviews were based on:

• best reasons to work for their employer
• downsides to working
• advice to management
• if they would recommend the employer to a friend
• ratings on how satisfied they are with their employer overall
• the company CEO
• key workplace attributes such as career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture, and values.

Based on the reviews, companies were rated on a five-point differential scale, with five representing the most satisfied employees. Visit Glassdoor to check out the full list.
