CHARLOTTE -- Morning commuters may have been surprised by a detour in uptown Charlotte on Monday morning.
South College Street is closed at East Stonewall Street and will stay closed for the next four weeks for the movement of some utility lines.
The off ramp of I-277 to College Street will also be closed.
CATS service will be affected.
The work is scheduled to end on Friday, Dec. 29.
