AUSTIN, Texas – Austin police are asking for help to find the person responsible for vandalizing the new Austin Central Library.

On Oct. 28 around 10:33 p.m., surveillance video captured a man spray painting the library’s café, causing $1,178.81 in damages.

The man was wearing a white bed comforter, a black long-sleeve shirt, tan shorts, and black tennis shoes.

The vandal is described as between 5'9" and 5'11" tall. He weighs approximately 160 to 175 pounds. He has short brown hair and is in his mid to late 20s.
