AUSTIN, Texas – An accidental fire caused $15,000 worth of damage at Iron Works Barbeque in downtown Austin.

The Friday morning fire was started by a heat source that was too close to combustibles, according to the Austin Fire Department. The restaurant is located on the 100 block of Red River Street.

The fire sparked $12,000 worth of structural damage and $3,000 worth of damage to the restaurant’s contents.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire, which was contained to one wall of the restaurant.

No one was injured in the fire.

Ironworks said they hope to reopen Friday afternoon.
