A moisture-starved cold front will push through North Carolina on Wednesday. Look for plenty of fog through daybreak as the sky begins to clear during late-morning.

It will be mostly sunny for the rest of the week and the weather will not be a factor for holiday travel. It will be much cooler to end the holiday weekend with high struggling to reach the the 50s into next week.

Dry conditions will last through the next several days with high pressure in control.
