Nancy Latulippe, 38, and her son, 14-year-old Jackson Latulippe, were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash around 3:31 p.m. The driver who crashed into them is facing two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of intoxication assault. The third victim, 41-year-old Scott Latulippe, died on Nov. 17.

Guy Brasted, 41, had a .203 blood alcohol concentration when he allegedly crashed into a Fiat on the 9400 block of Research Boulevard. Police say he lost control of his vehicle and crossed the cable barrier and grass median.

Scott was a passenger in the Fiat. He lived for six days after the crash with life-threatening injuries at the Dell Seton Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery before he died. Scott was a driver's education teacher at Valley Center High School in California.

The fourth Fiat passenger is their 10-year-old daughter who survived with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the affidavit, police believe Brasted was driving while intoxicated causing him to drive into the opposite lanes of the roadway and crash.
