CHARLOTTE -- 10 million dollars in just two weeks is what Share Charlotte is trying to raise for this year's Giving Tuesday campaign.

The money can help hundreds of non-profits big and small from ones that benefit children, to organizations like Changed Choices, which helps women reintegrate into society after prison.

Organizers hope this year they can hold their title as the largest community campaign on Giving Tuesday.

“It’s more than just cash.  We want everyone to know that. It’s financial donations. It’s the value of volunteer time that they pledge or serve during the campaign and the value of any in kind donations that are made to the non-profits who are participating during the campaign,” Share Charlotte’s Kelly Brooks said.

The Giving Tuesday campaign runs until November 28.
